“Stellar” shot. You know I thought about photographing the “supermoon” but I figured, how the hell would anybody know? All you have to do is just zoom in on a regular moon…Still really like this gallery. Some neat shots and I just love the shadow detail here.
In The Making of Forty Photographs, Ansel Adams talks about taking the shot Moon over Hernandez, probably his best known photo, how he did it without a meter because he knew the moon’s luminosity, how the moon moves so quickly that you cannot take a shot over 1/4 second, etc.
