2012 in Stats

We’ve already looked back at 2012 in detail, and at the best images of the year, but I’m not quite done with my 2012 retrospectives yet. In this final little look at the last twelve months, we have the WordPress-compiled annual report, looking at some of the stats for both Creative Splurges and The Daily Photo.

Here’s an excerpt from the Creative Splurges report:

5,000 people attended the Aspen Food and Wine Festival. This blog had about 51,000 views in 2012. If each view were a foodie, this blog would power 10 festivals.

And here’s a similar highlight of The Daily Photo‘s report:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 6,100 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 10 years to get that many views.

Annoyingly, the Creative Splurges report is not quite as detailed as The Daily Photo one. I seem to recall that happened last year.
