I’m a bit of a creative sort. I always loved the creative projects at school, and took it even further by going on to study creative writing and media at university, despite achieving A-Levels in physics, maths and biology. My biology teacher even described me as “very creative for a scientist,” which I think is one of the best compliments I’ve ever received.
The problem I have is being creative off my own back with any regularity. For quite a while I’ve been happy to sit on my arse and only actually create things (other than a mess) when the opportunity came to me, rather than me actively seeking out creative opportunities (note to self, look up ‘creative’ in thesaurus – or, failing that, don’t update your blog on an empty stomach).
This blog is the end of that. I will be updating this blog often with photography, videos and anything else I happen to create along the way. I can’t guarantee it’ll be regular though – hence, Creative Splurges.
